    Hello,

    I've been trying to get XEP to incorporate Donald Knuth's Computer
    Modern fonts into PS output. I've been following the steps detailed
    in the XEP User Guide, but there must be some subtlety I'm missing
    here.

    I downloaded the AFM files for the CM fonts from CTAN. There are PFB
    files in the TeX distribution. I have added this to fonts.xml:

       <font name="cmr10"
             embed="true"
             afm="/usr/home/paulh/tmp/cmafm/cmr10.afm"
             pfb="/usr/local/share/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/cm/cmr10.pfb">
         <alias name="Computer Modern"/>
       </font>

    I'm assuming the name attribute there is correct, as the AFM contains
    this:

    FontName cmr10
    FullName Computer Modern Roman 10 point
    FamilyName Computer Modern

    I am specifying font-family="Computer Modern" in the FO source
    (generated by the DocBook stylesheets). cmr10 seems to get embedded
    in the resulting PS, but the text itself doesn't use the font -- in
    fact, it comes out as Courier.

    I suspect I'm not naming things correctly. Can anyone help me to use
    the Computer Modern font?
