[xep-support] Image maps in PDF?

We'd like to add two functions to our DITA-based PDFs:

1. hyperlinks for image maps viewed on a device

2. printed cross-references for printed PDFs

Are these things we can do with XEP if we get our DITA transformations to feed the right information to it?
