RE: [xep-support] Socializing RenderX News Announcements

All:

We do appreciate the feedback so far and are happy to receive more. We were looking at various venues to ensure

1) that information about product updates was put forward

2) as a possibly different communication strategy for other things like the "Cooltools" that were forwarded through xep-support (although xep-support would always be here)

So, based on excellent feedback we have received, we will:

1) Update and continue xep-announce and implement an internal policy to ensure all product updates for XEP, VisualXSL and our newest product VDPMill will come through that email list and if acceptable to all here, I believe cross posted to xep-support.

2) Possibly change RenderX News from our home page and News page to implement RSS

3) Only then we will consider adding some additional socializing sites like Twitter and LinkedIn

Thanks for the great feedback. By “the list is not current” I mean we have missed a couple of product announcements to the list. To date, that I am aware of, the only other way we are making announcements is on our website.

...so my spam filter wasn't filtering them out, after all!

I definitely prefer email for such announcements.
