I guess you mean you have xsl-fo files (which don't needthe xslt transform?)

and want to have in my java-source only one call. I only want to use> the stylesheets, when there is a xsl-href in the XML file I want to render> with XEP.

I have never used XEP from Java so I don't know.

If you don't want to wait,http://saxonica.com/documentation/javadoc/index.htmlis the Saxon documentation.you could transform those that need it, thenomit the transform for the xsl-fo files.
