Chris, many thanks for the help. INPUT_FILE_NAME does not look like a
name of a URL. If it is not an absolute URL, then the resolver fails to
parse it and you see the error message.

Werner, make sure you pass a URL (that is,
protocol:[//host[:port]}/path) and not a file name.

I admit this is bad diagnostics.
