Sorry, I accidentally send my Question before finishing...
Once again:
I have some problems with Type 1 fonts and german umlauts while switching
from Xep 2.5.1 to 2.7.8.
We have used this fonts with XEP 2.5.1 without problems, all german umlauts
appeared in the pdf.
Now we switched to XEP 2.7.8 and instead of the umlauts we see the ordinary
letters (a, u, o...).
Nevertheless the german sharp s appears in both pdfs, but the hyphen appears
only in the old system.
One difference in our CMS is that we switched from latin-1 encoding to
utf-8.
If I compare some FO output generated from our system in an XML editor it
looks as follows:
Old system:
ays">Conduit Light</fo:block>
s">^1234567890ß´</fo:block>
s">°!"§$%&/()=?`</fo:block>
s">qwertzuiopü+</fo:block>
s">QWERTZUIOPÜ*</fo:block>
s">asdfghjklöä#</fo:block>
s">ASDFGHJKLÖÄ'</fo:block>
s">yxcvbnm,.-</fo:block>
s">YXCVBNM;:_</fo:block>

New system:
Conduit Light</fo:block>
e">^1234567890Ãx ´</fo:block>
e">°!"§$%&/()=?`</fo:block>
">qwertzuiopü+</fo:block>
e">QWERTZUIOPÃS *~</fo:block>
e">asdfghjklöä#</fo:block>
e">ASDFGHJKLÃ Ã '</fo:block>
e"><yxcvbnm,.-</fo:block>

Thanks in advance,
Michael Fritsch
