Than it is easy. Open file javastart.cfg in the root of XEP for XMLSpy
installation.
Its first parameter, "Launcher: ", specifies the path to the Java
executable.
Fix it to point to a valid java.exe; it should redress the situation. If
not,
please recontact me.
A hint: javastart.cfg and its parameters are described in the userguide.pdf
inside
XEP's package.
