[xep-support] Need an option for PDF Page Labels

Hi there... we just upgraded to XEP 3.8.4 from 3.7.2 to get the memory
usage improvement you did in 3.8. Version 3.7.2 was running out of
memory on some large documents and the upgrade fixed that.

However we noticed that 3.8.4 has a feature added 3.8 that says:
"In the PDF output, page labels reflect the XSL-FO page numbering"

We use XEP to render books and the books have numerous page number
sequences. So in the table of contents, we do i, ii, iii, etc., then we
might have blank page numbers, and then we may have a couple other
sequences of regular 1, 2, 3, etc. numbers.

Our users like to print ranges of pages and not the entire 60+ page
document. But when you print ranges in Acrobat Reader, it uses these
new labels and not the absolute page numbers like before. This causes
major problems because the users can't print page ranges that are in the
table of contents, or pages with no numbers, etc.

Can you please add a new PDF-specific option in the next 3.8.x version
that we can set in our XSL-FO to control whether this page number to
page label mapping occurs in PDFs?

Thanks!
Bill Henning
