Hello Jan,
I am getting "transparent margins" around the image (certainly not
black), using XEP 4.19 20110414. There have been changes related to
transparency in both the initial release of XEP 4.19 (20110304), and the
update (20110414). Please make sure you are running the latest version.
If nothing helps, please post the FO, the bad PDF, and xep.xml to
support@renderx.com.
