I don't understand what's happening.

      <fo:block>
        <fo:inline-container writing-mode="rl-tb">
          <fo:block writing-mode="rl-tb">abc def, ghi.</fo:block>
        </fo:inline-container>
        <fo:inline-container writing-mode="lr-tb">
          <fo:block writing-mode="rl-tb">abc def, ghi.</fo:block>
        </fo:inline-container>
      </fo:block>

The only difference is that the period is shifted to the 'end' direction,
the text is right(or left) aligned.

The alignment I can understand. The movement of the period I can't.

Can anyone explain it please?

regards
