Hi XEP-Support,
if fonts embedded in PDF-files created by XEP(Java) the encoding is set
to "Identity-H" instead of "ANSI".
In reasone to this some postscript-printers aren't able print these
pdf-files.
Also these PDF cannot be preprocessed by Acrobat Distiller.

Here is a section of the fonts.xml:
<fonts xmlns="http://www.renderx.com/XEP/config" xml:base="fonts/"
default-family="Arial">
    <font-family name="Arial" subset="false" embed="true">
      <font>
        <font-data ttf="C:\WINNT\Fonts\ARIAL.TTF"/>
      </font>
      <font style="italic">
        <font-data ttf="C:\WINNT\Fonts\ARIALI.TTF"/>
      </font>
      <font weight="bold">
        <font-data ttf="C:\WINNT\Fonts\ARIALBD.TTF"/>
      </font>
      <font weight="bold" style="italic">
        <font-data ttf="C:\WINNT\Fonts\ARIALBI.TTF"/>
      </font>
    </font-family>
</fonts>

We use XEP4.8 !

Is there any solution how PDF-file with embedded fonts can be printed
with postscript-devices ?

Thanks
Christof
