[xep-support] is XEP capable of adjusting line spacing in accordance with alignment-adjust?

When I give a negative alignment-adjust to an fo:external-object, the
graphic often overlaps the text below it. Furthermore, the line that
the graphic is on has a lot of room above it, as if XEP were making
room for an alignment-adjust of zero.
