[xep-support] Changing footer texts

Hi!

For a project I need to iteratate through footers every nth page (n =
3 or 4). In other words, in the case of n = 3:

--------------|
| |
| |
| MAIN TEXT |
| |
| |
| First footer|
| 1 |
|--------------

--------------|
| |
| |
| MAIN TEXT |
| |
| |
| 2nd footer |
| 2 |
|--------------

--------------|
| |
| |
| MAIN TEXT |
| |
| |
| 3rd footer |
| 3 |
|--------------

--------------|
| |
| |
| MAIN TEXT |
| |
| |
| First footer|
| 4 |
|--------------

etc.

Unfortunately, it looks to me as if
fo:conditional-page-master-reference doesn't give the required
flexibility for this specific task since it is essentially restricted
to odd-or-even distinctions.

I'd greatly appreciate any pointer on how this problem might be
solvable with XEP.

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Marc
