    Good Afternoon,

        Just purchased XEP.

I am struggling with what graphic file formats to use.

I am using Microsoft Visio to draw my diagrams.

In general, if I choose a bitmap format such as JPEG, PNG it works
if I use the default resolution, but if I try to increase the
resolution or the quality of output, all I get is blank areas.

I have output the image as EPS, and used "convert" to convert it to
PDF, yet again, I get a blank area.

I download pstill to convert the EPS to PDF, and I get the image,
but it isn't as accurate as using "convert".

Just so you understand my processing, I am composing an XML DocBook,
rendering to fo using xsltproc, and using XEP to get to pdf.

TIA for any help you can give.

    Paul
